have a great time in colorado. its such a speaical place to me. i love the entire state, but the san juans in the southwest part of the state are my favorite. try to go to/through ridgway, ouray, telluride, silverton, durango if they're not completely out of your way. rocky mountain national park should be full of wildlife this time of year, too. check out garden of the gods in colorado springs if you're taking I25 south from denver/ft. collins. its right off the interstate and very, very cool. if you end up in the mountains, independence pass into aspen is a pretty cool experience. have a great time!
